When Coca-Cola changes their artwork on bottles and cans and Adidas goes global you know what's coming...El Copa Mundial...or in English...The World Cup! Everyone should experience a World Cup season in their lifetime; the fight songs unimaginable joy and heart-wrenching tears. For 2010 it's a round up of the usual suspects: Brazil France Italy Germany and the like...we're interested in seeing what Slovakia and Cameroon bring to the field. The first games start on Friday June 11th with South Africa vs. Mexico and later Uruguay vs. France.
We were in a slight panic as to where to enjoy the matches this season but were pleasantly surprised to see The Queen's Arms Pub in Haile Village decorated and ready for Saturday's match of USA vs. England. This traditional English pub in southwest Gainesville (that regularly serves pub grub and lager) will air all the games so bring on the bangers and mash grab your team scarves and make it a fun time with friends (directions below).
We still haven't seen any good commercials this year like in 2006 with Adidas' Jose+10 campaign....which in our opinion is still the best commercial for the season ever!
