This April the City of Gainesville Beautification Board recognized CMC community Upper Westside in their 2010 Apartments and Condominiums category. We were treated to of night of hob-knobbing with fellow builders developers contractors property managers and architects as the best buildings & constructions in Gainesville where recognized for their "tangible" aesthetics.
The award is given for appropriate land use and sustainability effective planning methods and compatibility with the area. By definition, Upper Westside couldn't be in a more perfect location.
Upper Westside blends well with the midtown changes and allows easy pedestrian access to all the area highlights including the Stadium on gamdays; but most importantly gives residents a covered private garage - a coveted thing in midtown and downtown Gainesville.
Upper Westside replaced an old decaying building in the College Park area with a new 3 story multi-family development; the vision of Contemporary Management Concepts CEO Debbie Berdy architect Bob Taylor civil engineers EDA Associates & Sergio Reyes and landscape architects Buford Davis Associates.
