RTS plans route to SFC and GRA this fall!

For those not too familiar with the acronyms we mean Gainesville Regional Transport Service is creating a route to Santa Fe College and Gainesville Regional Airport this fall. We think it's great news and a much needed service. For those headed to Santa Fe route 23 will run every 50 minutes from the Oaks Mall on Newberry Rd through Fort Clarke Blvd. to the college campus. Route 23 will begin on August 16th for Fall 2010 semester. RTS said in a release this route will run from 7:20 a.m to 3:40 p.m. at the Oaks Mall and 7:45 a.m. to 4:05 p.m. at Santa Fe Monday through Friday.

For those traveling out of town you can opt out of parking your cars at the airport. Service will run from the University of Florida to Gainesville Regional Airport also starting on August 16th.
This will be a limited stop service running every hour on weekdays. RTS says service will be during the peak travel hours from 7:25 a.m. to 10:25 a.m. and then from 3:25 p.m. to 6:25 p.m.
