We're back in one piece after four very bumpy flights to and from Las Vegas this week. On the plus side, we flew over the Grand Canyon!
Some of our corporate members headed west for the annual 2012 NAA Student Housing Conference at the Wynn Hotel and Conference center.
This annual conference allows people in the multi-family and student housing industry to get together and discuss ideas trends and best practices for their communities. My favorite session was Building Loyalty Like Gaga put on by Sprout Marketing - a ten-step approach to building brand loyalty and in turn evangelists. We also had an awesome time playing "audience" at NAA's version of Family Feud. They paired UNLV parents and students in opposite teams to answer what each group is looking for when shopping apartments. This game was a RIOT to watch!
An expo was held for the duration of the conference allowing companies to get in front of us with their new products and boy did we see some cool stuff - check out our swag haul here.
But it wasn't all work. We got to enjoy some of the best that Vegas has to offer: sightseeing a live Garth Brooks show incredible meals and the world-famous buffets at The Buffet at Wynn Las Vegas.
