Lauren Houchens has been with CMC for 14 years and she has been the property manager at Spyglass, a 552-bed and 256-door student and conventional property since 2006. Spyglass earned Student Property of the year in 2018 and continues to delight residents, with an overall reputation score of 750 and 4 stars on Google. Lauren leads a team of five leasing professionals and three maintenance technicians. Her management style is best described as collaborative and consistent by her team members, and her residents see her as a resource for quick and efficient service. Lauren is organized, professional, competent, and independent. In the third quarter of 2020, Lauren was part of our JotForm development team. Her efforts made contactless move-in and move-outs a reality, limiting team member and resident interaction and reducing potential exposure to COVID-19. Her contributions and early preparation were vital to the successful move-out and move-in residents for the 2020-2021 school year. Lauren kept her team at Spyglass motivated and upbeat during these very challenging times. She worked long hours without complaint and with minimal support from the corporate staff.
