Freezing temperatures are in the North Central Florida weather forecast over the next week. To prevent damage to water pipes please follow the below steps to ensure water pipes do not freeze or break.
Please note: temporary or extended cut-off of water can occur should there be damage to water pipes in your apartment or water pipes in the area.

Here's what you can do:

• Be sure your heat is on AUTO 24 hours a day at a temperature setting of no less than 50 degrees.
• Keep all windows closed and pets WARM.
• Leave cabinet doors under kitchen and bathroom sinks open to allow heat to reach plumbing and pipes.
• If temperatures are below freezing drip water 24 hours a day at a steady drip of 3 drops per second from your kitchen and bathroom sinks bathtubs showers.
• Leave all drains open including sinks and bathtubs.
• Notify management ASAP if you notice any water running from the building or under your walls.
• Review your renters insurance policy to ensure you possess water fire and other similar hazard coverage.

Failure to follow above precautions can result in significant water damage to your apartment or the apartments above or next to you should water pipes freeze or break. You may be liable for such damages .
As authorized in your lease building management may enter your apartment as necessary to prevent damage.
